Durante el encuentro, ambos funcionarios intercambiaron estrategias para fortalecer la ciberseguridad en Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, con el objetivo de asegurar un futuro digital m\u00e1s robusto y seguro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>G\u00f3mez Mazara destac\u00f3 la importancia de fortalecer alianzas con organismos internacionales para garantizar que el pa\u00eds avance hacia una transformaci\u00f3n digital sostenible y resiliente. Enfatiz\u00f3 la necesidad de robustecer las herramientas tecnol\u00f3gicas para proteger los datos de los ciudadanos frente a ciberataques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante la reuni\u00f3n, ambos funcionarios discutieron los desaf\u00edos y oportunidades del futuro digital, poniendo \u00e9nfasis en la ciberseguridad en un contexto global donde los ataques digitales se han convertido en una problem\u00e1tica mundial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La funcionaria estadounidense reconoci\u00f3 los avances que ha realizado Rep\u00fablica Dominicana para garantizar el acceso a la tecnolog\u00eda para sus ciudadanos. Adem\u00e1s, expres\u00f3 inter\u00e9s en cooperar con el pa\u00eds para modernizar su infraestructura tecnol\u00f3gica y prevenir los ciberataques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta reuni\u00f3n se realiz\u00f3 en el marco de una serie de encuentros sostenidos por el presidente del INDOTEL en Washington, que buscan crear alianzas estrat\u00e9gicas para garantizar una reducci\u00f3n significativa de la brecha digital en Rep\u00fablica Dominicana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La conversaci\u00f3n se enmarc\u00f3 en la visi\u00f3n del INDOTEL de consolidar un ecosistema digital seguro en el pa\u00eds, alineado con est\u00e1ndares internacionales y buenas pr\u00e1cticas en materia de gobernanza digital.
