La decisi\u00f3n se tom\u00f3 tras una reuni\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de una hora en el Palacio Nacional, donde Reynoso fue elegida por unanimidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nuevos Procuradores Adjuntos y Proceso de Selecci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La candidatura de Reynoso, conocida como \u00abLa fiscal de hierro\u00bb, fue propuesta por el presidente Luis Abinader y aceptada por los dem\u00e1s miembros del CNM. Adem\u00e1s, Abinader present\u00f3 a siete candidatos para los cargos de procuradores adjuntos: Fiordaliza Alduey Mercedes, Emilio Rodr\u00edguez Montilla, Isis Hermania de la Cruz Duarte, Mar\u00eda del Carmen de Le\u00f3n, Osvaldo Antonio Bonilla, Felipe Herrera e Iv\u00e1n F\u00e9liz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sesiones del Consejo y Miembros del CNM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Consejo continuar\u00e1 en sesi\u00f3n durante tres d\u00edas y el lunes a las 2:00 de la tarde se reunir\u00e1 nuevamente para decidir qui\u00e9nes ser\u00e1n los nuevos procuradores adjuntos. El CNM est\u00e1 integrado por el presidente Abinader, los presidentes de las c\u00e1maras legislativas, Ricardo de los Santos y Alfredo Pacheco, el senador Omar Fern\u00e1ndez, el diputado Tob\u00edas Crespo, el presidente de la Suprema Corte de Justicia, Luis Henry Molina, la secretaria del consejo, Nancy Salcedo, y el presidente del Tribunal Constitucional, Napole\u00f3n Est\u00e9vez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Modificaciones Legislativas y Proceso de Elecci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En enero, el presidente Abinader promulg\u00f3 la Ley Org\u00e1nica 1-25, que modifica la Ley 138-11 del 21 de junio de 2011. Esta nueva legislaci\u00f3n establece que el CNM es responsable de la selecci\u00f3n del titular del Ministerio P\u00fablico, considerando los requisitos de la nueva Constituci\u00f3n.
