Durante la Semanal con la Prensa, el mandatario expres\u00f3 su preocupaci\u00f3n por el aumento de los precios de los alimentos, pero asegur\u00f3 que el gobierno est\u00e1 implementando medidas para reducir su impacto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abinader critic\u00f3 las promesas de bajar los precios, calific\u00e1ndolas de populismo barato. En su lugar, el gobierno se centra en controlar los precios. Un equipo integrado por el Ministerio de Agricultura, el Ministerio de Industria y Comercio, Pro Consumidor, el Instituto de Estabilizaci\u00f3n de Precios (Inespre), la Direcci\u00f3n General de Aduanas y los Comedores Econ\u00f3micos se re\u00fane semanalmente para evaluar las fluctuaciones en los precios de los productos b\u00e1sicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El presidente tambi\u00e9n inform\u00f3 que en los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas se revelar\u00e1n los resultados de los estudios realizados sobre este tema.
