Durante una reuni\u00f3n con el presidente del Senado y el presidente de la C\u00e1mara de Diputados, V\u00e1squez present\u00f3 una moci\u00f3n para establecer el Premio Dr. Rafael Lantigua, que reconocer\u00e1 a j\u00f3venes dominicanos destacados en diversas \u00e1reas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V\u00e1squez se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la estabilidad econ\u00f3mica y el fortalecimiento de la seguridad han sido clave para el aumento en el n\u00famero de dominicanos que visitan su pa\u00eds natal. Este incremento tiene un impacto positivo tanto en el turismo como en la econom\u00eda local. Adem\u00e1s, el c\u00f3nsul destac\u00f3 la importancia de reconocer a los j\u00f3venes talentosos en el exterior, ya que su esfuerzo y sacrificio proyectan una imagen positiva de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana en el mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El c\u00f3nsul tambi\u00e9n abord\u00f3 el tema de las remesas y el impacto econ\u00f3mico de los dominicanos en el exterior, aclarando que las cifras oficiales de m\u00e1s de 10 mil millones de d\u00f3lares anuales solo representan una parte de la contribuci\u00f3n total.
