M\u00e1s de 300 dominicanos consiguieron empleo en Nueva York gracias a la Feria de Empleos, Salud y Recursos Sociales organizada por el Consulado General de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana en Nueva York. El evento, celebrado en el Hospital NYC Health+Hospitals\/Lincoln en el Bronx, atrajo a m\u00e1s de 600 participantes que tambi\u00e9n recibieron atenciones m\u00e9dicas, sesiones de capacitaci\u00f3n y charlas sobre prevenci\u00f3n de sobredosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre las plazas laborales obtenidas por los dominicanos se encuentran puestos en el Hospital Lincoln, el Departamento de Bomberos de la Ciudad de Nueva York (FDNY), el Departamento de Polic\u00eda de la Ciudad de Nueva York (NYPD), el Departamento de Probatoria del Condado de Westchester, el Departamento de Parques de la Ciudad y el sector de cuidado para personas envejecientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El c\u00f3nsul general Jes\u00fas V\u00e1squez Mart\u00ednez agradeci\u00f3 a las instituciones y agencias locales por su apoyo en la feria. \u00abEstamos muy contentos con el logro alcanzado en este evento. Desde que llegamos al Consulado, nos hemos trazado la meta de estar cada vez m\u00e1s cerca de nuestros compatriotas dominicanos.
