Durante una visita de cortes\u00eda al director del peri\u00f3dico List\u00edn Diario, Miguel Franjul, Hayakawa deline\u00f3 las \u00e1reas que marcar\u00e1n su gesti\u00f3n diplom\u00e1tica en el pa\u00eds, destacando la salud, la educaci\u00f3n, la inversi\u00f3n empresarial y el medioambiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prioridades diplom\u00e1ticas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hayakawa explic\u00f3 que como punto de partida, quiere aumentar la presencia y participaci\u00f3n de las empresas japonesas en territorio dominicano, donde actualmente solo operan dos compa\u00f1\u00edas en zonas francas de San Pedro de Macor\u00eds. Adem\u00e1s, busca ampliar el intercambio de personas entre ambos pa\u00edses y continuar la cooperaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica a trav\u00e9s de fondos no reembolsables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Apoyo econ\u00f3mico<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El embajador mencion\u00f3 un reciente acuerdo para enfrentar la presencia del sargazo, con un valor de dos millones de yenes aportados por el Gobierno japon\u00e9s. Tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 un acuerdo para apoyar a peque\u00f1as y medianas empresas del sector agropecuario con financiamiento a trav\u00e9s del Banco Agr\u00edcola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Inter\u00e9s en el Tren Metropolitano<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jap\u00f3n tiene inter\u00e9s en participar en el proyecto del Tren Metropolitano Santo Domingo-Las Am\u00e9ricas. \u00abEstamos prestando atenci\u00f3n a c\u00f3mo se va a realizar el proyecto\u00bb, coment\u00f3 Hayakawa, subrayando que estar\u00e1n atentos cuando se abra la nueva convocatoria a licitaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mejora del transporte y manejo de residuos<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El embajador tambi\u00e9n mencion\u00f3 que la Agencia de Cooperaci\u00f3n Internacional del Jap\u00f3n (JICA) est\u00e1 trabajando en t\u00e9cnicas para mejorar la sincronizaci\u00f3n de sem\u00e1foros en Santo Domingo y en iniciativas relacionadas con el manejo de residuos, espec\u00edficamente con el vertedero de Duquesa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Expo Osaka<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rep\u00fablica Dominicana confirm\u00f3 su participaci\u00f3n en la Expo Osaka, que se celebrar\u00e1 a partir del 13 de abril.
