La informaci\u00f3n fue confirmada por fuentes cercanas al Partido de Unidad Nacional (PUN), organizaci\u00f3n que fund\u00f3 y presid\u00eda desde el a\u00f1o 2001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Legado de Pedro Corpor\u00e1n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Corpor\u00e1n, tambi\u00e9n diputado al Parlamento Centroamericano (Parlacen), deja un legado marcado por su firme defensa del cooperativismo como herramienta de desarrollo social, su oratoria encendida y su prolongada incidencia en la pol\u00edtica nacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante su gesti\u00f3n como director del Instituto de Desarrollo y Cr\u00e9dito Cooperativo (Idecoop), promovi\u00f3 pol\u00edticas dirigidas a fortalecer el movimiento cooperativo en todo el pa\u00eds, con \u00e9nfasis en la inclusi\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica de las comunidades m\u00e1s vulnerables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trayectoria Pol\u00edtica<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2001, fund\u00f3 el Partido de Unidad Nacional (PUN), de orientaci\u00f3n centroizquierdista y socialista cristiana, desde el cual impuls\u00f3 candidaturas propias y alianzas con otras fuerzas pol\u00edticas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2024, result\u00f3 electo como diputado al Parlacen, representando a la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Honras F\u00fanebres<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El cuerpo de Pedro Corpor\u00e1n ser\u00e1 expuesto este lunes 14 de abril en el Jard\u00edn Memorial, ubicado en la Avenida 27 de Febrero casi esquina N\u00fa\u00f1ez de C\u00e1ceres, en Santo Domingo, desde las 8:00 de la ma\u00f1ana hasta las 4:00 de la tarde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Posteriormente, ser\u00e1 trasladado a la Casa Nacional del Partido de Unidad Nacional, donde se rendir\u00e1 un homenaje pol\u00edtico y partidario.
