Este gesto de solidaridad se produce tras la devastadora tragedia ocurrida el pasado 8 de abril en la discoteca Jet Set, que ha dejado hasta el momento 226 fallecidos y un n\u00famero similar de heridos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLa tragedia que ha sacudido al pueblo dominicano nos duele profundamente a todos, sin importar en qu\u00e9 lugar del mundo estemos. Desde Nueva York, nos unimos al dolor de cada familia afectada y reafirmamos nuestro compromiso con la comunidad dominicana\u201d, expres\u00f3 Salamanca Jr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante su visita, Salamanca Jr. particip\u00f3 en varias actividades oficiales, incluyendo un desayuno con alcaldes locales y una reuni\u00f3n con l\u00edderes de agencias de primera respuesta en la Direcci\u00f3n General de la Polic\u00eda Nacional. Tambi\u00e9n visit\u00f3 la zona cero (Jet Set) junto al alcalde Eric Adams, donde depositaron una ofrenda floral y elevaron una plegaria en honor a las v\u00edctimas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En su agenda tambi\u00e9n figuran un encuentro con el Ministro de Obras P\u00fablicas y Comunicaciones, Eduardo Estrella, y una visita privada a la familia de un detective retirado del NYPD, fallecido durante el colapso del techo en Jet Set.
