Esta iniciativa responde a las recientes regulaciones en materia de infraestructura, que se han vuelto evidentes tras la tr\u00e1gica cat\u00e1strofe ocurrida en la discoteca Jet Set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLo sucedido en Jet Set es un tr\u00e1gico recordatorio de la importancia de contar con regulaciones estrictas y efectivas en el sector de la construcci\u00f3n\u201d, declar\u00f3 Moronta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDebemos asegurar a nuestra ciudadan\u00eda que las obras que se realizan en nuestro pa\u00eds cumplan con los m\u00e1s altos est\u00e1ndares de seguridad y calidad. Esta ley busca garantizar no solo la seguridad de las estructuras, sino tambi\u00e9n la vida y el bienestar de todos los dominicanos.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La propuesta de ley establece un marco normativo que incluye la creaci\u00f3n de un Registro Nacional de Supervisores de Obras, asegurando que solo profesionales acreditados tengan la autoridad para supervisar proyectos de construcci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se contempla, adem\u00e1s, la implementaci\u00f3n de supervisiones peri\u00f3dicas de edificaciones construidas que sirvan de establecimientos p\u00fablicos, con el fin de evaluar su seguridad y conformidad con las normativas vigentes. Este sistema de inspecci\u00f3n obligatoria se aplicar\u00e1 en diversas etapas del proceso constructivo, as\u00ed como a edificaciones ya existentes que reciben un uso p\u00fablico, garantizando as\u00ed la protecci\u00f3n de los usuarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moronta enfatiz\u00f3 la necesidad de promover la transparencia en el sector de la construcci\u00f3n y la importancia de la capacitaci\u00f3n continua de los profesionales involucrados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEs esencial que todos los actores en este proceso entiendan su responsabilidad y se comprometan a construir un pa\u00eds m\u00e1s seguro\u201d, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asimismo, el diputado hizo un llamado a la participaci\u00f3n ciudadana, invitando a la poblaci\u00f3n a involucrarse en la supervisi\u00f3n de obras en sus comunidades. \u201cLa voz de la ciudadan\u00eda es fundamental para crear un entorno donde la seguridad y la calidad sean prioridades.
