La visita del monarca tiene como prop\u00f3sito principal asistir a la clausura del World Law Congress, un evento que promueve el imperio de la ley sobre la fuerza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>World Law Congress<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El evento reunir\u00e1 a destacadas figuras del Derecho, como la jueza Sonia Sotomayor, de la Corte Suprema de Estados Unidos. El martes 6, el rey se reunir\u00e1 con el patronato de la World Law Foundation (WLF) en la Universidad del Caribe (Unicaribe).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Inauguraci\u00f3n del Monumento \u00abFlame\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Posteriormente, Felipe VI acompa\u00f1ar\u00e1 al presidente Abinader en la inauguraci\u00f3n del monumento \u00abFlame\u00bb, dedicado a la paz y la libertad, ubicado en el Malec\u00f3n de Santo Domingo. La escultura, obra del artista Carlos Albert, simboliza la espiritualidad y la esperanza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Caracter\u00edsticas de la Escultura<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La obra representa el premio Rainer Arnold Award, otorgado por la World Jurist Association (WJA) y la World Law Foundation para reconocer la excelencia en la investigaci\u00f3n constitucional.
