NUEVA YORK. \u2013 En un paso significativo hacia la protecci\u00f3n de los trabajadores de bodegas, la organizaci\u00f3n United Bodegas of America (UBA), presidida por Radamez Rodr\u00edguez, recibi\u00f3 este mi\u00e9rcoles 500 botones de p\u00e1nico que ser\u00e1n instalados en igual n\u00famero de establecimientos comerciales en zonas consideradas de alto riesgo en la ciudad de Nueva York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El anuncio se realiz\u00f3 durante un acto oficial celebrado en Pamela\u2019s Green Deli, ubicada en el 1798 Crotona Avenue, Bronx, NY 10457, donde de busca que alcalde Eric Adams, quien estuvo en el acto,, de la comisionada del Departamento de Polic\u00eda de Nueva York (NYPD), Jessica Tish y otros funcionarios reciban el mensaje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La entrega de estos dispositivos es parte de una subvenci\u00f3n de la ciudad a UBA, con el objetivo de reforzar la seguridad de los bodegueros, quienes a menudo enfrentan situaciones de riesgo durante sus jornadas laborales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHoy hemos dado un gran paso de muchos que a\u00fan nos faltan. Este momento significa mucho para m\u00ed y para la organizaci\u00f3n que represento. Por a\u00f1os hemos alzado la voz por la seguridad de nuestros bodegueros, y ver que la ciudad nos escucha y act\u00faa es un logro de toda nuestra comunidad,\u201d
expres\u00f3 Radamez Rodr\u00edguez, presidente de UBA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rodr\u00edguez enfatiz\u00f3 la importancia de la unidad en este tipo de avances:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEs un tremendo paso para UBA, y por eso agradecemos el apoyo de todos. Yo pido su presencia, su respaldo, porque necesitamos demostrarle al alcalde y a las autoridades que somos una organizaci\u00f3n seria, comprometida y que merece atenci\u00f3n. Shield\u2026.un operativo espec\u00edficamente dise\u00f1ado para asegurar que las bodegas y peque\u00f1os negocios puedan sentirse respaldados tanto por la ciudad que por la organizaci\u00f3n de las cuales son miembros!
Hoy, marca una antes y despu\u00e9s en lo que es nuestra lucha para cuidar y hacer que sientan las voces de los
bodegueros en NYC!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los botones de p\u00e1nico, que estar\u00e1n conectados directamente con la polic\u00eda, permitir\u00e1n una respuesta inmediata en situaciones de emergencia, mejorando as\u00ed la seguridad de empleados y clientes en bodegas ubicadas principalmente en los condados del Bronx, Brooklyn y Manhattan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La medida es una respuesta concreta al llamado de UBA para que las autoridades implementen acciones efectivas ante el incremento de actos violentos y robos que afectan a estos peque\u00f1os negocios, esenciales en la vida diaria de los neoyorquinos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
