NUEVA YORK. \u2013 Con la participaci\u00f3n especial del asamble\u00edsta George \u00c1lvarez y la asistencia de destacadas personalidades del \u00e1mbito empresarial, comunitario y pol\u00edtico, la noche del domingo se visti\u00f3 de gala para celebrar la XV entrega de los Premios Beauty Parlor, un evento que reconoce la trayectoria, dedicaci\u00f3n y excelencia de los profesionales del estilismo dominicano en esta ciudad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La esperada premiaci\u00f3n tuvo lugar en los elegantes salones del Eastwood Manor, en el condado de El Bronx, donde se dieron cita peluqueras, barberos, terapistas, promotores de belleza, empresarios, l\u00edderes comunitarios y autoridades locales para rendir homenaje al talento y esfuerzo de quienes, a trav\u00e9s del arte del cuidado personal, embellecen a la comunidad y aportan al desarrollo econ\u00f3mico y cultural de la di\u00e1spora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La velada estuvo amenizada por la contagiosa m\u00fasica de la orquesta merenguera Sin Fronteras, que puso el toque festivo a una noche cargada de emociones y orgullo colectivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En conversaci\u00f3n exclusiva con este medio, el reconocido activista y promotor del estilismo Rafael \u201cBenny\u201d Ortega, principal organizador del evento, expres\u00f3 su entusiasmo por llegar a los quince a\u00f1os de esta significativa premiaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEstos premios nacieron con la idea de visibilizar el arduo trabajo que realizan nuestros estilistas, quienes muchas veces pasan desapercibidos, pero son una parte vital de nuestra cultura y econom\u00eda. Han sido a\u00f1os de esfuerzo y constancia, y me llena de orgullo poder seguir reconociendo a los nuestros\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Ortega.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se destac\u00f3 la presencia de representantes del Gobierno Estatal, del Concejo Municipal de Nueva York y la esperada llegada de congresistas, as\u00ed como reconocidos l\u00edderes comunitarios, empresarios del sector cosm\u00e9tico y medios de comunicaci\u00f3n locales e internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la ceremonia tambi\u00e9n se entregaron menciones especiales y se rindieron homenajes a figuras emblem\u00e1ticas del estilismo que han dejado una huella imborrable en la comunidad, reconociendo su impacto y legado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
