Este programa tiene como objetivo desarrollar y probar misiles hipers\u00f3nicos de planeo y propulsi\u00f3n para ataques m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos y de mayor alcance, con una mayor capacidad de supervivencia contra las defensas enemigas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El contrato incluye la gesti\u00f3n del programa, desarrollo de ingenier\u00eda, integraci\u00f3n de sistemas, materiales de larga duraci\u00f3n y herramientas y equipos especiales para apoyar la producci\u00f3n de misiles y plataformas de lanzamiento. Los trabajos se llevar\u00e1n a cabo en varias ciudades, incluyendo Denver (Colorado), Huntsville (Alabama), Sunnyvale (California) y Titusville (Florida), y se espera que finalicen en agosto de 2028.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El misil CPS constar\u00e1 de un cohete propulsor s\u00f3lido de dos etapas y un cuerpo de planeo hipers\u00f3nico com\u00fan que albergar\u00e1 una ojiva de energ\u00eda cin\u00e9tica.
