As\u00ed lo explic\u00f3 el ministro de Turismo del pa\u00eds latinoamericano, David Collado, en el RD Tourism Roadshow Madrid, un evento organizado por el Ministerio de Turismo dominicano que ha congregado a m\u00e1s de 250 profesionales de la industria tur\u00edstica espa\u00f1ola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2024, los visitantes espa\u00f1oles alcanzaron la cifra de 182,089 personas que eligieron este pa\u00eds como destino. Collado avanz\u00f3 que en los cuatro primeros meses de 2025, los turistas procedentes de Espa\u00f1a se situaron en los 49,676, con un aumento progresivo mes a mes hasta registrar un repunte en abril al sumar 14,083 visitantes. \u00abEsta evoluci\u00f3n mensual apunta buenas expectativas para el conjunto del a\u00f1o\u00bb, apunt\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De ellos, el 94% de los turistas manifiesta su intenci\u00f3n de regresar, un dato que refuerza la fidelidad del mercado espa\u00f1ol hacia la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana. El ministro de Turismo de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana insisti\u00f3 en la apuesta del pa\u00eds por el turismo como eje del desarrollo econ\u00f3mico, un sector cuya contribuci\u00f3n al PIB nacional es de hasta el 15%. Entre las iniciativas que impulsa el Gobierno, destaca estimular el inter\u00e9s de los principales inversores hoteleros.
