El objetivo es entender el espacio interestelar y m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Colaboraci\u00f3n y Tecnolog\u00eda<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El Instituto de Astronom\u00eda de la UNAM y el consorcio Sloan Digital Sky Survey est\u00e1n colaborando en un proyecto sin precedentes para mapear el medio interestelar con una precisi\u00f3n nunca antes vista. Han desarrollado un software llamado Data Analysis Pipeline, publicado en The Astronomical Journal, que puede procesar grandes vol\u00famenes de datos y corregir distorsiones estelares autom\u00e1ticamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Innovaci\u00f3n en Astronom\u00eda<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El Local Volume Mapper (LVM), un sistema rob\u00f3tico desarrollado para esta investigaci\u00f3n, consta de cuatro dispositivos \u00f3pticos que convierten la luz captada en datos espectrales de alta resoluci\u00f3n. Cada toma es equivalente al tama\u00f1o de la Luna y permite analizar la composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica de regiones celestes cercanas, esencial para entender d\u00f3nde puede surgir la vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Avances y Futuro<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Hasta ahora, se han realizado 8.000 tomas que cubren cerca del 20% del \u00e1rea total proyectada.
