El presidente Luis Abinader estuvo presente, destacando la vida y obra del general Rojas Tabar, quien fue un pilar fundamental en las Fuerzas Armadas de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Una Vida de Servicio y Compromiso<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El general Juan Bautista Rojas Tabar, nacido en Salcedo, provincia Hermanas Mirabal, dedic\u00f3 su vida al servicio militar y a la funci\u00f3n p\u00fablica. Su carrera militar fue ejemplar, destac\u00e1ndose como jefe de Estado Mayor de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Dominicana y como exsecretario de las Fuerzas Armadas. Su compromiso con la defensa y seguridad de la naci\u00f3n fue inquebrantable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contribuciones al Fortalecimiento de las Fuerzas Armadas<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El general Rafael Gonz\u00e1lez Borrell, compa\u00f1ero de armas, resalt\u00f3 las contribuciones del general Rojas Tabar al fortalecimiento institucional de las fuerzas armadas. \u00abEstamos ante un vac\u00edo en las Fuerzas Armadas, se\u00f1alando as\u00ed la definitiva ausencia de esos hombres de honor que han sabido defender con gallard\u00eda el compromiso de salvaguardar la dignidad de nuestra bandera\u00bb, declar\u00f3 Gonz\u00e1lez Borrell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ceremonia de Homenaje y Sepelio<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>La ceremonia de homenaje se llev\u00f3 a cabo en la sede del Ministerio de Defensa, con la presencia de altos mandos militares, familiares, amigos y figuras pol\u00edticas. Posteriormente, el cuerpo del general Rojas Tabar fue trasladado al Cementerio Cristo Redentor, donde se llev\u00f3 a cabo su sepelio con honores militares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Palabras de la Familia<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre llantos, la viuda Matilde Franco agradeci\u00f3 al presidente Luis Abinader y a los altos mandos militares por su apoyo en el momento m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil de la familia. \u00abEl general Juan Bautista Rojas Tabar era un hombre de familia, y su legado perdurar\u00e1 en nuestros corazones\u00bb, expres\u00f3 Franco.
