Tremont Ave. alrededor de las 4:30 a.m. del martes, zona paralela a Major Deegan Expressway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las im\u00e1genes de vigilancia recuperadas en el lugar de los hechos muestran a un hombre acerc\u00e1ndose al BMW azul de Vargas y abriendo fuego mientras \u00e9l se encontraba detenido cerca de la esquina. Las balas atravesaron la ventanilla trasera del pasajero e impactaron a Vargas en la nuca, seg\u00fan NYPD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los servicios de emergencias m\u00e9dicas llevaron a Vargas al St. Barnabas Hospital, pero no pudieron salvarlo. Ten\u00eda un extenso historial criminal con 14 arrestos, seg\u00fan informaron las autoridades. El pistolero se subi\u00f3 a una camioneta negra, huy\u00f3 a toda velocidad y segu\u00eda pr\u00f3fugo el martes. La polic\u00eda rastre\u00f3 la zona en busca de m\u00e1s im\u00e1genes de vigilancia que pudieran ayudar a identificarlo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apenas horas antes, a media tarde del lunes, una enfermera de 45 a\u00f1os recibi\u00f3 un disparo mortal en la cabeza en una calle de Queens (NYC).
