Este comit\u00e9 tiene como objetivo identificar y dise\u00f1ar proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n e innovaci\u00f3n en \u00e1reas vitales para impulsar al pa\u00eds hacia nuevos niveles de bienestar y solucionar problemas actuales y futuros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El comit\u00e9 estar\u00e1 presidido por el reverendo Secilio Espinal, rector de la Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica Madre y Maestra (Pucmm). \u00abLa conformaci\u00f3n de este Comit\u00e9 Cient\u00edfico es un paso trascendental para la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, ya que se busca unir el talento de nuestros mejores profesionales y cient\u00edficos para abordar de manera estrat\u00e9gica los desaf\u00edos y las oportunidades que nos presenta el siglo XXI. La innovaci\u00f3n y la investigaci\u00f3n son pilares para construir un futuro pr\u00f3spero y sostenible para todos los dominicanos\u00bb, expres\u00f3 el presidente Abinader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre las \u00e1reas que pueden ser beneficiadas por innovaciones tecnol\u00f3gicas, Abinader cit\u00f3 la seguridad ciudadana, el sistema el\u00e9ctrico y la agropecuaria, estableciendo objetivos que sirvan de gu\u00eda para nuevos logros. Franklyn Holgu\u00edn Hach\u00e9, presidente del HUB de Innovaci\u00f3n de Punta Bergant\u00edn, explic\u00f3 que el plan nace con la visi\u00f3n de ser un catalizador del progreso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El presidente del comit\u00e9, el reverendo Secilio Espinal, enfatiz\u00f3 que la colaboraci\u00f3n entre el sector acad\u00e9mico, empresarial y gubernamental ser\u00e1 clave para alcanzar los objetivos y generar un impacto positivo y duradero. \u00abEs un honor y una gran responsabilidad presidir esta mesa. Todos los involucrados en esto estamos comprometidos a trabajar arduamente para identificar y desarrollar proyectos que impulsen el crecimiento y la innovaci\u00f3n en \u00e1reas cr\u00edticas para nuestro pa\u00eds\u00bb, manifest\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Comit\u00e9 Cient\u00edfico re\u00fane a expertos de academias, gremios, empresas privadas y entidades estatales, y trabajar\u00e1 dentro del HUB de Innovaci\u00f3n Punta Bergant\u00edn. Su funci\u00f3n primordial es impulsar conexiones financieras, t\u00e9cnicas y de colaboraci\u00f3n con iniciativas e ideas para la investigaci\u00f3n, facilitando que los proyectos identificados se materialicen en propuestas comerciales viables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los cinco ejes sobre los que se trabajar\u00e1n son el impulso a la educaci\u00f3n, el desarrollo de soluciones para el medio ambiente dada la vulnerabilidad del pa\u00eds al cambio clim\u00e1tico, el fortalecimiento de la agricultura y seguridad alimentaria, la promoci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda renovable para asegurar disponibilidad a precios competitivos, y la modernizaci\u00f3n de la econom\u00eda digital para transformar la econom\u00eda dominicana de un modelo an\u00e1logo a uno digital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por el gobierno, estuvieron presentes el ministro de Hacienda, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Vicente; el presidente ejecutivo de Banreservas, Samuel Pereyra; los ministros de Educaci\u00f3n, Luis Miguel De Camps; de Industria, Comercio y Mipymes, V\u00edctor \u00abIto\u00bb Bison\u00f3; de la Juventud, Carlos Valdez; y la viceministra de Turismo, Patricia Mej\u00eda.
