Desde julio de 2024, las operaciones a\u00e9reas entre ambos pa\u00edses han estado suspendidas, generando una serie de desaf\u00edos y oportunidades perdidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Flujo de Pasajeros<\/strong> Entre 2019 y 2023, el flujo de pasajeros entre la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana y Venezuela fue constante, superando los 120,000 viajeros anuales en varias ocasiones. Sin embargo, esta cifra se ha visto dr\u00e1sticamente reducida desde la suspensi\u00f3n de vuelos en julio de 2024. En 2019, se movilizaron 166,616 pasajeros, mientras que en 2023 la cifra fue de 141,890. La interrupci\u00f3n ha limitado no solo la movilidad de personas, sino tambi\u00e9n el dinamismo comercial y tur\u00edstico que caracterizaba las relaciones bilaterales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Comercio e Inversi\u00f3n<\/strong> El intercambio comercial entre ambos pa\u00edses alcanz\u00f3 los 326.4 millones de d\u00f3lares entre 2019 y 2024. La balanza comercial est\u00e1 inclinada a favor de Venezuela, con una diferencia de 47.3 millones de d\u00f3lares. En 2024, el intercambio comercial ascendi\u00f3 a 47.9 millones de d\u00f3lares, con exportaciones dominicanas de 13.6 millones e importaciones de 34.3 millones. La suspensi\u00f3n de vuelos ha afectado este intercambio, generando incertidumbre en el sector comercial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Inversi\u00f3n Extranjera Directa<\/strong> La Rep\u00fablica Dominicana recibi\u00f3 343.6 millones de d\u00f3lares en inversi\u00f3n extranjera directa de Venezuela entre 2019 y 2024. Esta inversi\u00f3n ha sido crucial en sectores estrat\u00e9gicos como turismo, comercio, entretenimiento y salud. Proyectos emblem\u00e1ticos como Blue Mall, Sambil y la Cl\u00ednica Abreu son ejemplos de la inversi\u00f3n venezolana en el pa\u00eds, generando empleo y dinamismo econ\u00f3mico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Perspectivas Futuras<\/strong> Las autoridades dominicanas est\u00e1n en proceso de an\u00e1lisis para decidir sobre una eventual reanudaci\u00f3n de los vuelos comerciales hacia Venezuela.
