Durante su participaci\u00f3n en \u00abLa Semanal con la Prensa\u00bb, Abinader explic\u00f3 que el agresor, Jean Andr\u00e9s Pumarol Fern\u00e1ndez, ten\u00eda acceso a tratamiento y recursos econ\u00f3micos, pero esto no fue suficiente para garantizar su estabilidad debido a fallos en el seguimiento de la medicaci\u00f3n y el acompa\u00f1amiento adecuado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conexi\u00f3n Personal y Tragedia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abinader tambi\u00e9n revel\u00f3 que la v\u00edctima mortal, Yolanda Handal Abugabir, era hermana de Nancy Handal, asistente personal de la primera dama, Raquel Arbaje, lo que dio a la tragedia un impacto personal dentro del entorno presidencial. \u00abNos toc\u00f3 a todos\u00bb, dijo el presidente.
