Esta decisi\u00f3n podr\u00eda materializarse durante la 80\u00aa Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas en septiembre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consulta y Reconocimiento<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>La oficina del primer ministro Luis Montenegro ha indicado que Portugal est\u00e1 considerando el reconocimiento del Estado palestino como parte de un procedimiento que podr\u00eda concluirse durante la semana de alto nivel de la Asamblea General de la ONU. Este paso se alinea con los plazos establecidos por otros pa\u00edses europeos como Francia, Reino Unido, Canad\u00e1 y Malta, quienes tambi\u00e9n han anunciado su intenci\u00f3n de reconocer el Estado de Palestina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conferencias y Contactos Internacionales<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El Ministerio de Exteriores de Portugal ha se\u00f1alado que esta reconsideraci\u00f3n se ha llevado a cabo durante la \u00abConferencia Internacional de Alto Nivel para el Arreglo Pac\u00edfico de la Cuesti\u00f3n de Palestina y la Implementaci\u00f3n de la Soluci\u00f3n de los Dos Estados\u00bb. Adem\u00e1s, se ha tenido en cuenta la disposici\u00f3n de varios pa\u00edses \u00e1rabes a reconocer y normalizar relaciones con Israel, as\u00ed como la evoluci\u00f3n preocupante del conflicto en Gaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Situaci\u00f3n en Gaza<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El conflicto en la Franja de Gaza, que ha durado casi 22 meses, ha dejado unas cifras devastadoras seg\u00fan fuentes palestinas, con alrededor de 60,000 muertos. Este conflicto se inici\u00f3 tras los ataques de Ham\u00e1s y otras milicias palestinas contra Israel el 7 de octubre de 2023, que dejaron 1,200 muertos y m\u00e1s de 250 rehenes.
