Juan Bancalari, presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Hoteles y Turismo (Asonahores), destac\u00f3 que estas cifras reflejan el <strong>impacto transformador<\/strong> del sector, que no solo dinamiza la econom\u00eda, sino que tambi\u00e9n <strong>fortalece encadenamientos productivos<\/strong> con la agricultura, la industria, la construcci\u00f3n y los servicios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durante el acto inaugural, Bancalari revel\u00f3 que en <strong>2022<\/strong>, la hoteler\u00eda adquiri\u00f3 en el mercado local m\u00e1s de <strong>RD$139 mil millones<\/strong> en bienes y servicios, demostrando su capacidad para <strong>impulsar el crecimiento interno<\/strong> y generar empleo. Adem\u00e1s, resalt\u00f3 que la <strong>inversi\u00f3n extranjera directa (IED)<\/strong> ha alcanzado niveles hist\u00f3ricos, con <strong>US$4,390 millones en 2023 y US$4,512 millones en 2024<\/strong>, cifras que reflejan la <strong>confianza de los inversores internacionales<\/strong> en el potencial tur\u00edstico del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El ministro de Turismo, David Collado, quien encabez\u00f3 el acto de apertura, destac\u00f3 que la <strong>ocupaci\u00f3n hotelera<\/strong> se ha mantenido en niveles r\u00e9cord, incluso en temporadas bajas, lo que demuestra la <strong>resiliencia y atractivo<\/strong> de Rep\u00fablica Dominicana como destino tur\u00edstico. <em>\u00abNuestro reto es seguir innovando y diversificando la oferta, siempre con sostenibilidad y calidad\u00bb<\/em>, declar\u00f3 Collado, quien tambi\u00e9n resalt\u00f3 los avances en <strong>turismo comunitario y sostenible<\/strong>, que buscan beneficiar tanto a los inversores como a las comunidades locales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La <strong>37\u00aa Exposici\u00f3n Comercial de Asonahores<\/strong>, considerada la <strong>feria m\u00e1s grande del Caribe insular bajo techo<\/strong>, re\u00fane a m\u00e1s de <strong>140 empresas expositoras<\/strong> de Rep\u00fablica Dominicana y otros pa\u00edses, ocupando un espacio de <strong>4,000 metros cuadrados<\/strong> con m\u00e1s de <strong>300 stands<\/strong>. La agenda del evento incluye paneles sobre <strong>sostenibilidad, pr\u00e1cticas laborales y ordenamiento territorial<\/strong>, temas clave para el futuro del sector.
