El hecho ocurri\u00f3 la noche del mi\u00e9rcoles en el sector <strong>Batey Tres<\/strong>, frente al colmado <strong>Banesa<\/strong>, y dej\u00f3 a la v\u00edctima con <strong>m\u00faltiples heridas mortales<\/strong>, seg\u00fan el informe del m\u00e9dico legista <strong>Dr. Julio Castillo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>El ataque mortal<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Testigos del crimen relataron que Vargas Jim\u00e9nez, quien tiene <strong>antecedentes penales<\/strong>, abord\u00f3 a Saladin Estien y le exigi\u00f3 dinero. Al serle negada la petici\u00f3n, el agresor <strong>sac\u00f3 un machete de 24 pulgadas<\/strong> y atac\u00f3 a la v\u00edctima, causando heridas que le provocaron la muerte. Vargas Jim\u00e9nez fue detenido horas despu\u00e9s por agentes de la <strong>DICRIM<\/strong>, quienes recuperaron el arma homicida durante el operativo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La v\u00edctima: \u00bfDocente o residente del barrio Libertad?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque en la comunidad se difundi\u00f3 que Saladin Estien era <strong>docente en una escuela local<\/strong>, las autoridades a\u00fan <strong>verifican su identidad y ocupaci\u00f3n<\/strong> como parte de la investigaci\u00f3n. Lo que s\u00ed se sabe es que resid\u00eda en el <strong>barrio Libertad de Esperanza<\/strong> y que su muerte ha generado <strong>indignaci\u00f3n y dolor<\/strong> entre los residentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Detenci\u00f3n y proceso judicial<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Vargas Jim\u00e9nez fue detenido a las <strong>9:26 a.m.<\/strong> del d\u00eda siguiente al crimen y puesto a disposici\u00f3n de la justicia.
